Free CV Creator is a simple, free tool to build a CV in your browser. We designed it to be privacy‑first. By default, your data stays on your device.

Data Storage

We use your browser’s localStorage to save your work so you don’t lose progress. Typical keys may include:

• cvData – your CV content (personal details, sections, etc.)
• selectedTemplate – your chosen template

You can clear this data anytime from your browser settings. If you clear site data, your saved CV will be removed.

Data Collection

We don’t require an account and we don’t upload your CV content to our servers. Any third‑party resources (e.g., fonts, icons, libraries from CDNs) may receive standard web request data (like IP address) when your browser loads them.

Third‑Party Services

We load some assets via trusted CDNs (e.g., Google Fonts, Font Awesome, Cloudflare CDN). Please review their privacy policies for details on their data practices.

Cookies

We don’t intentionally set cookies for tracking. Your CV data is stored locally using localStorage.

Security

As a client‑side tool, security largely depends on your device and browser. Keep your device and browser updated and avoid using public machines when handling personal data.

Children’s Privacy

This tool is intended for general audiences. If you’re a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information, please clear the browser storage on that device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect improvements or changes to the site. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.

If you have concerns about your privacy, consider using the tool without entering sensitive information and export your CV immediately.
